NMAT 2026 Registration Is Open: Who Should Apply and How CAT Aspirants Should Prepare Differently

NMAT by GMAC registration opened on 20 August 2026.

For CAT aspirants, NMAT is attractive because much of the aptitude base overlaps.

But the test itself rewards a different kind of performance.

NMAT 2026 dates

The current official schedule lists:

One important detail: NMAT registration and the individual B-school application process are separate steps.

Do not assume registering for the exam automatically applies you to every college accepting NMAT.
